thanks again for all the help. I will post pictures as soon as i can get the money together and order the parts. If i buy the lift keys do i need to get blocks for the rear or will the body lift and keys leave the truck level. And i already got a cold air intake but thanks.

Bodylift is a cheap shortcut to something you will eventually get tired of. On top of that they dont look as clean...save your money and do a suspension lift. I love my NTBD BDS kit.

So i found this kit that is just some keys and blocks for the rear, it looks like more than a leveling kit and looks like it might work as a 3 inch lift that i want. What do you guys think, it is either this or a body lift, i really want to do a 4 inch full lift but i just dont have the cash to do it right now. and i really want something that will last this summer.

there is no, just keys, lift that should net you 3 inches. you would make out your whole front end bro. you want 4 inches of lift just go with 6. cause a 6 inch knuckle lift and 33s does look very good!!!

edit: don't do a body lift. personal exsperience(sp). its not worth it.

alright, i guess the question is how much lift do I need to fit 33s and still be practical for wheeling and daily driving.

The stock keys will give you the same lift, the upper a-arms have a limit. A 4" lift is probably about the same price as a 6", 33s not much less than 35s.

well can i run 33s on a stock truck or will it start to rub when i turn sharply.

alright so if i go with a lift kit here are the two i am going to pick from.

    99-06 GM 1500 6" SPECIAL W/SHOCKS @ NTW

someone could take the time to tell me if one looks better than the other please do. the other option is to just wait and get the skyjacker kit for 1500.

listen to tanz and i hated my rough country. that was the biggest piece of sh!t. i know another guy, we had the same lift, he hated his with a passion too. he traded his in on a NNBS then lifted it with a pro comp lift. stay away from budget lift kits man. you'll regret your decision not to do it right the first time.
