04 silverado - procharged buildup WiP

Aight, im starting a procharger build up on my 04 silverado. Going to share what i learn from this, and i hope yall share what yall have learned. Ill be posting image updates when I take them or get them.

Tuning is all going to be done by maryland performance.

As of right now, there are no pictures of the supercharger or parts, Just a few pictures of the bumper guard i fabricated, the interior, and a bed cover that i will finish one day.

Currently, i will be using the p1sc with bigger injectors, a lot of tuning, and possible fuel system upgrades. The engine is a 4.8 vortech.

In the end of all of this(in a couple years) I eventually hope to push the truck into the 11s. For now, im going to try to tune the 4.8 to 450 or 500 horsepower, and try to keep the stock transmission and rear end intact until I get some more cash flow to start upgrading everything else.

For now, Can anybody tell me the limits of the factory fuel pump, transmission, and rear end? It uses the A4 tranny. Any other tips and advice is appreciated.

Ordered guages, used autometer cobolt series boost and a/f guages. Ordered the o2 senser kit as well. Pics in sig link.

Updated the page.... has pictures of the truck before all of the modifications are done. Also, a video of how quick it goes kinda stock. And... got the gauges and gauge pod in....

Next update will be pictures of the blower going on.... Still waiting for the damn thing to get here....

I will do the install this weekend and throw up some more pics then... Will not get to do any tuning until monday. Maryland performance will be installing the injecters and tuning the thing so that it works nice and sweet. Until then... I cannot play around with it. So, Yea, see ya saturday.

Truck is on dyno now.

Just called them, its pushing around 370ish at the wheels, they estimate a little over 500 at the crank.

Not gonna be able to pick it up today, I had a 02 senser die.

Exhaust is done. Headers going into true duel 2.5 pipes with 40 series dumping before the axles.

Need a bigger fuel pump. Fuel pressure started dropping around 11 lbs of boost.

The end of the 4L60E

After the lesser part of 2 days, apparently, my stock 4L60E wants no part of the nearly 500 crank hp. Here is the result. Sorry, I didnt get a good video when the transmission still worked. Oh, and luckily, I made it home.
