FLT FTW! seriously, if your going to get a transmission rebuild done, spend some money and take it to a good reputable shop or do it yourself.

on that same note, when installing an HD2 shift kit, don't just do the valve body upgrades, go ahead and pull the trans, and replace the return springs in the drum that come with the kit. It will make the transmission last alot longer. and as per everybody's recomm. replace the valve body accumulator piston with the aluminum unit. this is only if your transmission is a light duty 4l60e with the plastic piston, you can buy the cast aluminum replacement from Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts l 800-230-3030 for around 12 dollars. It better to spend the 12 dollars, replace it during a rebuild and never have to do it again. cu going back and doing it later is alot of work you shouldn't have to do
