hahahahahh, I'm sure some of you know that stupid movie, just thought of it when I read Ryan's statement about he's only half as smart as all of us forum jokers.

ok i read this and just have to put my two cents in...

    1. you gotta pay to play
    2. research wut you wanna do and look at the problems that can and do arise and be prepared for them.
    3. know your budget and slowly build it to wut you want it to be.
    4. if you want an 11 second street truck its gonna be hard with a CC...I myself have a CC and i know that i would have to sink a lot of cash into it to get it there.
    5. i did piece by piece...first CAI then exhaust/headers got a tune from allen for it...then i got a cam and the tranny died...got a new tranny convertor and a some new gears and eaton for the rear...my last power piece is gonna be a blower when funds are available...might take awhile due to the current financial situation with the wife having had heart surgery last year.
    6. will it be the fastest CC out there, no...but it will be quick and suprise some people.

don't be mad Allen I would of bought your turbo kit and I am sure it would have been better but you kept on blowing me off I guess you didn't need my $5000 and as far the truck we have very love hate relationship some days I want to go back to stock and other days I punch the throttle and I start dreaming up other things to do to improve the turbo system and I think I figured out the PCV sytem it looks like APS uses a one way valve on the driver side valve cover so I guess I will try and order it!

WOW! Is all I can say. I read this post from front to end. I recall you saying you can not afford to do any thing on a SSG budget. Heck I am a lonley E4 and a reservist on top of that and I am working on my truck after I do my research first. So if you cannot do it then you need to go to a Financail class. And I know the military has them. Cut back on your drinking to start off with so you can get your thoughts together. And if you are in the military then I know you have some money after being deployed... And I say "if you have been deployed." And all they members have been through the ups and downs with their rides... hence the statement: Do your research... before you jump into a project. The military teaches all of us to look at the situation before you jump.

Trust me, I'm not mad, I never get mad .
Just to clear it up, I wasn't blowing you off, I told you about 5 times the kit wasn't ready and I wasn't about to take your money if the kit wasn't ready.
So you bought another kit that was ready, and ended up modifying it to work.
If your truck is back to stock, just put the stock pcv valve back in there, no need for a one way check valve.

Just for the record, my CC runs pretty darn well...all with Allen's (and Jon's and James') help! I agree with Mark, very few things work out perfectly the first time around (especially with FI)...I'm on my second engine.

Well it sounds like a few things wrong I can tell, at least from what Ur putting across. First you are way to impatient. You need to build. Slowly and get thing right the first. Nothing great is built in a day especially fi. Two and this also has to do with Ur first problem. Stop living outside of Ur means of income. I'm personally building my truck ans as u can see its a nice list in my Sig and well over 10g and I just put on sr airman about 2 years ago. Build slowly and do Ur homework. 3 any time you mod a vehicle u will have some issues and its the small things that make it dependable. 4 try building things yourself. Have professional help but the more u understand about what Ur doing the more it will make sense. And finally grow up a little bit. Calling out Allen publicly with as good a rep as he has makes u look foolish. U have a prob then deal with it with some maturity. Now u may think I'm just another guy giving u a hard time but think about Ur responses so far. No one cares what u do to Ur truck especially with your attitude. And done drunk post, makes u look like a idiot

When I went FI for the first time I had my share of issues. Can't say I'm on my third motor. I'm shore you are pushing your motors alot harder than mine. 10max on a stock 5.3 with 180k and best of 13.4 at 109. I building forgen ls1 right now to take it place. You just got to take your time to get right and it will work out.
