    Indeed. And you can even paint the bumper whatever color younwant and put clear vinyl over and it will work wonderfully.

    I've been seeing a lot of newer BMW's and Benz's with clear vinyl type stuff over the bumper/grill/part of the hood straight from the factory to keep chipping to the minnimum. Sounds like a good idea to me.

    stoppedby a local paint and body supplier earlier....... they said for paint to stick on chrome; use 80 grit and sand with DA, then use a epoxy primer

    i'll prolly try it when it warms up getting tired of looking at the chrome

    lol i just got my valence, paid 170 for........ and i like my wheels(there not likely to get stolen lol)

    i sand blasted my grill to remove the chrome so i could get it painted.


    id say paint the bumper and do the grill bar...you wouldthen be opposite of my truck

    Paint it, clear vinyl. I got a strip of clear vinyl across the front of my hood and you cant even notice unless theres some left over wax or something. Gotta get the bottom half of my truck repainted and vinyled so I can lose the gay mudflaps
