top is what my spring looks like and bottom is how its supposed to look pinion facing towards the right side of the screen.

does anyone know if a bad leaf spring can affect traction in a negative way?

thanks guys. so what kind of shape are the removed springs in? how many miles?

i think the main reason for my springs going to hell was the shackle hanger drop with the overload removed. it stretched the spring out pretty far and the removed overload let them flex alot more. the new springs i plan to leave the overload in clamped with the cal-tracs and maybe add a drop block to my flip kit to level out the truck. my front end sits a hair over 1" lower than my rear end with the flip kit.

the springs jon has of mine are in ok shape, but i cut the overload to fit my caltracs, if youre flipped you'll need to do this, anyway if jon still has mine you can have them just pay jon to ship them to you
