Well this showed up friday. Along with all my exhaust, mufflers, harmonic damper, rear blocks, and a few other odds and ends.

But I drank waaaaaay to much on saturday to get anything done. LOL So hopefully over this week and weekend i can have some more progress pics up.

Holly all the way, I think there's alot more tunability in a Holly opposed to an Edelbrock. They're not that hard to dial in either. Everything just needs to be the right size, lol.

No doubt there's a lot more tuneability in a Holley, but as far as set it and forget it goes you can't beat the AFB. Whatever you do stay away from Demons, absolute garbage in every way shape and form.

Forgot the camera but i can tell you some updates and have pics tomorrow.

    Done over weekend:

    New Rear springs
    New Shackle bushings
    2'' rear block
Rear axle swap. (79 rear yoke smaller than 85's, must swap)
    Front clip entirely off
    Old 305 out
    Front axle out
    New front shackle bushings in
New front 2.5'' lift springs in
Drivers side rocker and floor cut out

Would have like to get more done, but as usual, the ''friends'' never made it out to help.

    To do this week:

    Swap in 79 front axle
grind and paint fron half of frame
weld in new panels on drivers side
    cut passenger side of cab
    weld in passenger side panels
    drop in crate 350
    run new brake lines
    run new fuel lines

Front clip is meeeeh. Gonna get some Goodmark front fenders and inner fenders. I know they won't line up the best, but i am done fighting all this rusty crap.

Do it once, do it right.

    gotta love rust!

(ps...where did you get the sections you replaced on YOUR truck?...I cut the rust out of mine, and used fiberglass as a temporary filler...thinking I want the actual metal replaced come spring before I pay to have the bottom half of truck rhino-lined)

They have slip ons or complete panels. I got the completes and just used what I needed.
