    SLP Balancer/Underdrive Pulley, 1999-08 4.8/5.3/6.0 Silverado/Sierra/SUV, 2006-07 Trailblazer SS 100230 By SLP Performance Parts, GM Truck/SUV 1996 - 08 cheapest i've found. Ordering mine friday

I like the slp b/c it comes with a new bolt, and addresses false knock. A lot of f-body guys had a prob with other balancers, slp was first to address it.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    I hate u/d pullies.

$200+ for 10hp is not worth it to me.
and under-volt problems at idle always sucked.

Have you installed one on an LS motor? Sorry you had bad experiences with them on Ford motors....or whichever motor it was. But I would highly recommend them to people who have LS motors.

Oh, they work well on F*** too, in my experience. I have the March aluminum 3-piece set on my Mustang (crank, water pump, alt), right when they introduced the Power & Amp series to correct low idle voltage (which it evidently did, never had a problem). I'm guessing I've had them on my car since '97 or so.
