HP Tuners and best OS for it?

Alright guys i bought HP tuners a while back and played with on vista on a Virtual system on My Mac Computer, well it crashed (just my virtual system not my mac) and i got mad and bought a new comp just for tuning, off newegg.com they have lots of stuff at good prices and bought this and it came with vista and i bought XP to install but its a pain to do the swap and not 100% sure how, my question is is it worth it or just keep vista?

if you bought windows XP and the laptop youre using to run hp tuners on has vista, reformat the drive and install XP, its rather simple. the biggest problem is you'll have to load the drivers back unless you got a driver cd with the laptop, hp tuners runs flawlessly on XP OS systems, if not mistaken some were or having problems with vista, could be wrong just what i heard.

so how exactly do you save and reload the drivers and i also got the system maker version of xp it shouldn't make a difference but what do i know...

i think they had an issue about 6 versions ago. Everyone I know is using Vista with HPT.

Try it with vista and see if you have any issues, if not keep it, since the laptop is already loaded for you.

My virtual system crashed not 100% sure why but i think partly is i ran out of batt while it was open, lots of reasons i went this rout not to mention this runs 100x better/faster than the virtual system my mac is still faster on the mac os, i am currently running hp with vista on the new comp without a prob so we will see what happens.
