    I had this problem a few weeks ago ( put a 2007 5.3 LMG with 4L60E in my 1997 Tahoe).
    This is how I ended:

    The gas pedal is still a bit high and when I change to the brake it is a weird feeling at the beginnig 'cause the brake pedal is deeper.. in the moment I am used to it, but I will try to improve this later..

    Thats just what I was thinking about doing, but now I have to wait for my new pedal and tac module since mine was DOA.
    1991 Silverado-L33 5.3L, 212/218 .557 .562 115+4, ASP under drive pulley,180* thermostat, 90mm truck intake w/ LS3 throttle body. Shoenfeld conversion headers and duel Flowmaster exhaust. Performabuilt LVL 1 transmission and 23-2500 stall converter.
