    start small, focus on getting the v8 u want in and running. if you get too carried away trying to fix the tranny and everything else you probably will need one day you will be out of money half way into it and it wont be running and you will get discouraged..... Then you can do the tranny, and supporting mods to motor later on as you get more money. just my .02

    True, that is the route I went with mine. Just seems easier to do everything when its out LOL.
