1/8th: 9.17 Run, but not the best

Internet has been down all week, so just getting this posted. This is from last Saturday night at the local 1/8 mile track. This video is of my 9.17 run. I ran a 9.08 @ 76 later that night, just don't have that video loaded yet.

I seriously want to know what other mods you have done... I just cant believe that a intake and a handheld and muffler with little slicks will pull a low 14 high 13 on a big truck like that. I like your truck, it kicks ass.

Yeah, I'll get the 9.08 slip scanned in this weekend and post it in the FTL thread. And I have a 14.3 slip from Memphis last year if I can just find it.

It is still factory from the air box to the TB. All I have is Cold Air into my factory airbox. I think my throttle response would improve greatly with an aftermarket tube to the TB. The only other explanation I can think of would be more cubes(6.0 vs. 4.8) maybe. How much does your truck weigh?

    5000 give or take.
Im sure your truck hauls ass, but you need to get it dynoed cause I have gotten a length or two on 6.0 extcab trucks with the same mods, with street tires, without spraying mine. what was your 60ft times with the slicks. and did you have times with street tires?

Mine weighed 4900 at Memphis. It could all be in the 60ft. as well. My best 60ft's were in the 2.0x range, like a 2.07 on the 9.08 run. Plus it was about 50 degrees last saturday night too. The only street tire run was when it was stock, except the muffler delete. It ran a 9.75 with a 2.222 60ft. It really surprised the kid in the black truck too. He came up afterwards and was asking about my mods because he couldn't believe it. So I popped the hood and let him check for himself. He thought he was going to beat me. I saw them kinda chuckling in the staging lanes when I rolled up with the 26" on the rear. I made sure the staging lane guy paired us up

Just thought I would add this for what it is worth. Those were 26" Nitto Drag Radials and not slicks. But for my setup they hook great with a nice burnout.
