    Time for a new trans

I'm looking to buy a built 4l60e for my truck (check my sig) and i saw that alot of you guys are running finishline trans but i was wondering if there are any other good trans shops out there. at a local sppeedshop the guy works with CK Performance trans www.CKPerformance.com and i'm tryin to find out if anyone knows anything about them or has had any good experience. Also, how about those trannies on Ebay?

Update your user information with your location and maybe someone local to you will post up a builder within driving distance. FLT has a great rep and is hard to beat with the quality, plus they dyno test your new transmission before sending it to you. Not many builders do this.

I live in Newark, Delaware and CK Performance has retailers in the entire upper east coast. But if I do go with Finishline, should I get a level4? I'm think level 5 would be a bit overkill for me

Get the best that you can afford. Also get the largest tranny cooler you can find.

whatever you do dont buy a monster transmissions tranny, i paid over 3k for one that lasted less than 12 hours was supposed to be dyno tested to hold 600 hp, and my 14second truck blew it up. AND they would not do jack for me, i paid to have it taken out and shipped back and they finally after 9 months of grief agreed to give me a 50% refund. so pretty much i paid them 1500 to get screwed over.
