Im going with the suncoast kit and Casey building it for me,I trust them and they are local. I also wont have to deal with core charges etc. The suncoast IV kit and 1058 converter are a proven package so Im not afraid going with it. Im not going to be sled pulling or anything so Ill be fine.

When you come through Austin Id like a ride in it. When do you think that will be? What kind of tune are you going to be running in it? I think Ive decided Im giong to do the cognito UCAs, with dual shock hook and dual shocks up front, steering upgrades, cognito HD tie rods, bilstein shocks and sulastic rear shackles so that will give me a better ride and upgrade my steering so I can do the trans and converter. It will make me have to wait an extra month or so to do the trans but will make the truck ride better but save me about 800 on the rear setup and and almost 2K on the front but all of that stuff will work once I finally do, do the lift except for the shackles. After I get those suspension upgrades on if it doesnt ride to my satisfaction then Ill do the rest of the lift kit, but if it does ride the way I want then Ill do the trans. Im definately going to need the wilwoods soon after the upgraded power it already doesnt stop so great.

Its a compromise to not go full out on the suspension. Ive got to do a little something about the how it rides, its nto horrible but it could be quite a bit better. It would cost me a little over 4K to do the whole suspension, but doing what I said would be about 1500ish, then the price you quoted me on the trans stuff.

    Lift vs trans

I think most everything with the Bars cranked up Rides a bit like a train .. Add offroad tires and its a for sure deal... I think Mic's truck is a sleeper he has had alot of these trucks and has alot of fast toys .. And this will be his first Built Trans/Stall so i am sure he will give everyone his feedback on power/shifting/towing and MPG as many miles as he drives...
