My right side f-body manifold would not work, it hit the rear upper a-arm frame mount. I had to use a 5.3 truck manifold.
Were yours the cast iron or stainless stamped units? Mine were the stainless ones and fit fine. Came on a 98 engine.

Exhaust now is new, custom bent 3" aluminized pipe, 2 in / 2 out 18" Flowmaster, no CAT's, stealth fit (high and tight) tips turn down right in front of the rear bumper right and left corners, and are cut off even with the bottom of the rear bumper.
