Can anyone tell me if the late model 6.0L and transmission can be swapped in where the 5.7L is now in a '99 Tahoe/2wd? (Old style square body)

    Thanks.

I'll be able to let you know later on lol. That's the exact setup I'm going for with my 99 Tahoe.
I can't decide if I want to throw a 4L80E behind the 6L or the 65E. If the 80E will mate up ok with the transfer case, that's what I'm doing. The 65e's seem to be holding up fine with the SS's though.
Oh, did I forget it's also gettting a Radix hehehe.

The engine and trans will go in there, if you have the time and patience, you can do it.
I think our 99's have very similar body frames as the nbs trucks, so you'll have more room than I did in my '94. Unless my tahoe frame just looks wider and newer becuase it's a 4x4.

keep us updated on your progress, sounds like a great combination. It should be a huge power increase over that older 350, i know how slow mine is, lol.
