There are 2 wires to the brake switch, one is a purple wire labeled brake switch to pcm and the other is a pink/black wire that gives 12v. I tried putting the dark blue tcc wire to both and couldnt get it. Could I be missing something else?

There should be two switches on the brake pedal.
