For the cam whizes here.. I have an 05 CC Z71 lifted with 35's 4:88 gears and 2800 Yank TC. I am about to swap in a .030 over LQ4 with 317's that have been cleaned up a little and .020 mill on them. I am using the stock truck intake and K&N CAI. My exhaust setup is Pacesetter long tubes custom mandrel bent y pipe with tiny little 6 in high flow cats and Magnaflow Cat Back. The cam that I have in the motor is a 224/220 581 581 on 116 reverse split (Old MTI grind). Cam wizards am I making a mistake? Looking for a torquey cam that will work well in the 370 ci LQ4 with the 2800 Converter in this tank.
