C5 or F-Bod LS1 + 4L80E?

I am doing a little info searching for a plan that may happen here (if I get the car) ...

Anyway are the C5 and F-Bod LS1's the same? What about the accessories and brackets?

Can I bolt a 4L80E to an LS1 or only a 4.8/5.3/6.0?
