It depends on the ohm of each coil. You want the rms power of the amp to match the rms power of the sub. I usually use a class d mono for subs whenever possible. Your sound is going to come from the tuning more than the amp, but if you don't have the right power your tuning won't really matter.
each voice coil is 300rms max. I dont wanna go with a class d cause those usually tend to be more expensive. i'm just wondering what your personal opinion is on what sounds better. a bridged two channel amp putting out 300rms @ 4 ohms bridged or a 2 channel amp with one channel per VC putting out 300rms @ 4ohms per coil.
