drive by wire harness n computer to cable TB

so i have a swap i got from a guy who buys rollovers. I got a 5.3 w drive by wire. i did not get the pedal assembly and harness. I wanted to convert it to cable throttle body which i already have. I have read that I can not use the harness or computer i already have when switching to the cable setup. ? anyone able to convert without having to use a different computer and harness. all of the DIY harness info i have found is using the camaro style harness and computer.

finding a pedal and tac module is easier and cheaper than looking for a 99-2000 red/blue harness and pcm or camaro style. What kind of truck or car are you working on? Or you can get a harness made for ur computer

i could use the pedal for sure. this swap has to be quick per say. and the most inexpensive. so far im only 1050 in with motor tranny harness and computer all from the stock truck. as well as the adapter mounts. Im working on figuring out the fuel adaptations that are necessary. i know there are lots of threads on here about that which has made life way easy. but im still unsure how to adapt the harnesses. i still dont know exactly which engine code i have motor wise. all i have seen are numbers on the heads and some bar code tags on the back of the motor and one on top of the tranny. looks like i will be staying with the drive by wire setup on this motor n tranny. I will post some pictures of all the parts this weekend and the truck as well.
