    Cam

I found this lunati cam for 150 trying to do a cam install on a budget the spec are 218/221 524/534 112lsa would I just be wasting my time with a small cam or would it really give me 5.3 a little more bite to go with its bark ???

That would be a pretty solid 5.3 cam. The lift is quite low so you would be able to use LS6 springs which are very affordable. It is mild, but you would still see massive improvements. That cam would be a great starting point. Many people run the 212/218 low lift cam and are very happy with it, which is much smaller. If you aren't looking for all out performance that should work great.

Yes you do and you also need to get a single bolt cam. I would delete the DOD and VVT crap for sure. I can't remember what else goes into this, but there are some other differences with the NNBS cam swaps.
