    Finished tearing my block down

Gonna pick it up from the shop tomorrow after work and take it to get bored and honed. taking it out to 3.898. Pistons/rods on the way along with some 241's with PRC dual springs. Looks like this build is gonna cost me right around 900. I don't think it's that bad. That's including all gaskets, bolts, fluids and any other misc things that I needed to get for it. Not sure how much it's going to cost to get the heads milled but I'll find that out tomorrow.

Will take pics when I start reassembly.

On another note, I figure out that the edges inside the block are extremely sharp!

Trust, it happened. lol. I also reminded myself that Gojo in a get with hot water hurts as well. I was surprised at how clean all my internals were. No wear on any bearings. Everything came apart rather easy.

i pulled apart a motor with over 200k on the clock and had a blown out piston, othere than that the internals and cylinder walls looked like my motor that had 60k on it, cross hatching and all, its crazy how little the motors actually wear.

I agree. All of mine still had the cross hatch as well. Was going to take the block to the shop today but they're closed till Monday.

Not sure. They do a lot of dirt track engines so they might be traveling. Or maybe still off for thanksgiving. It's the only perf shop in town so idk.
