    Question 160 thermostat too cool for a truck?

    I want to change out the thermostat when i do my coolant change a was wondering if that 160 degree t-stat from slp is too cool for my 4.8 w/t ?

    id have to agree with Pit, here on the gulfcoast we dont get much cold weather but when we do it takes forever for my truck to warm up pass 160, yeah i run a 160 in my stock z71, matter of fact it only got up to 175 all the way to san antonio yesterday and the temps were around 70 for a 4.5 hour drive
    Simple: 408 on steroids!
