low boost run with the new setup

Went to the track last sat for a local board track day. Decided to make one pass on low boost 7.5 psi before turning the boost up. I was hoping for a low 12 or possibly a high 11 second pass. I was to lazy to do any weight reduction so it weighed in at 4600 lbs. I was shocked when I got the time slip. Turned the boost up to 10 psi, but had issues with the plug wires and never got a clean pass in.

Bumped the c.r. from 8.8 to 9.5 and put a set of cleaned up 317 heads on it. Should be fun when we turn the boost up. I have a set of All Pro heads that will eventually go on, then we can throw some real boost at it. The truck felt good on the street, but I had no idea it was making this much power on the street tune. It only has 12 degrees of timing. Some weight reduction and more tuning could get really close to the 10s at 7.5 psi.
