well there is this place in conway that used to be an old strip mall and this huge parking lot is where alot of guys go and sit up there to talk about how fast there z71's are after their straight pipes and superchips or hypertechs!:bsflag: well i think if you know much of anything about motors you'll know what im getting at here!? well me and my buddy are going to mcdonald's and you have to go through the parking lot to get there. well im just idling along so the cam is chopping off and what do i hear???? " That piece of **** is slow!!!!" well i don't have the easiest temper in the world so i wheel up in there to find out simple bitches prolblem! well before i can get my window down good i hear that he wants to race. keep in mind that my man here has an 06 z71 35's and 17's straits and a hypertech and he thinks it fast!?bwhahaha!! now this little goofy ****er comes up and dares me to race a tundra! i don't exactly know the mods on it i just know he had paddle shifters and some efi box he had mounted near the spare tire? to make a long story short we get on the new 4 lane (SC22) and line up! well since there are 3 trucks ill admit i started getting a big head a said they can line up side by side and ill just pass both! my plan was that since i don't have a stall and the tundra will jump me i can draft his tailgate around the Z and pass him too! now we are off and my iroks are smokin and don't wanna hook but about 30 they get it and the green Z71 is easily passed and the tundra got walked off from at 50! and thats with a ****ty tune for now got a super charger and a black bear tune on the way! sorry to have to spill my life story but those are the only two people stupid enough my way to race a 07 z71 with 35's and 20's and who ever said that the big trucks were slow huh? guess you gotta watch out for the quiet guy, they'll get yah every time!!!

ok now the truck in the pic is with the lift on but this was right after we did a cam swap and head work to the lq9. when the race took place it was stock height with double leveling kits 35's and 20's. the mods are:
    cold air intake
    90mm tb
    tsp heads
    comp 222/226 at 112lsa
shorty headers (can find any lt's for the new body style! if you know of some that will work please let me know)
3" true duals with flowmaster 40 series
    gear star level 4 4l70e
    4.10s with detroit in rear
hp tuned then but waiting on my bad ass black bear tune! (EFI LIVE = THE ****)
on prolly a mixture of 103 and 93 at the time!but i mainly run just 93
and the guy in the tundra though his **** was fast by 60 mph i was a tailgate length in front of the closest guy to me and i had to pass the slow ass. not saying my truck is fast or anything but all these guys with tires to weight them down with no power to back em' up need not to open their mouth until you pull out and make their jaw drop!!! bwhahahahaha!

by the way i got a 3200 stall and a supercharger on the way really wanted to do a front mount but for the sake of the motor i got a super charger because the bottom end is forged and you just about have to mortgage a home to do that so..........?

sounds good, the pacesetter long tubes for the 99-06 will work on your truck, im pretty sure. I have a set on my 08 tahoe and they fit great, but its not 4x4.
