Cops are no fun

So Mxhonda97 and I where out eating and he said my truck was slow then I told him I had some stuff do since last time we had raced (no cat, ported and polished TB) and one thing lead to another. Were at a red light and it turns green so we punch it and I start spinning and he’s moving pretty good. Then he slows do pretty fast and I look in my rearview and there he was the man in blue turning on the road right behind us. He gets right behind me so I make like I’m getting on the interstate but it was too late. He hit his lights and I’m light F*^% so I go to pull over and he passes me and goes after MX I’m like hell yea. I go ahead and pull over and sit for around 10 minutes because it was a one way road and I didn’t want him to wave me do by MX. I call MX and he’s like I got a big ticket for street racing and I’m like we never even went over the speed limit. Then he tells me he was joking he just got a warning and the cop said racing is racing no matter how fast your going.

dude ive gotten a warning for the same thing. except i was doing around 70 in a 35. the cop didnt get me on radar, but knew i was racing. your so damn lucky. they will toe your truck and take you to jail if they blatantly catch you

Ive gotten that exact warning, but the cop was like "do you have 500 bucks, bc thats how much a street racing ticket is." he was kinda a dick, but atleast he only gave me a warning!

Street racing carries a huge fine in TX plus you can lose your license over it. It&#39;s actually as bad as a DUI here. Not to mention how expensive your insurance gets once the ticket goes on record. If you ever get a ticket for racing, get a lawyer or get ready to be raped for 5+ years.

man that was aclose one.. i hd something like that happen to me a while back. me and a buddy of mine were taking these chix home. i was doing 110 in a 55. the cops pull me over. he asks why so fast? i told himwe were running the girls home. he said SLOW DOWN&#33;. and let me go.. that shit wakes you up when you get pulled over while you are doing something crazy...

Yep, that was the second time in about 2 weeks - no racing on the street for me. Luckily, I didn&#39;t get a ticket - but I did win the race&#33; I don&#39;t think we would have gotten caught if it weren&#39;t for 2500HD&#39;s loud supercharger and spinning tires&#33;&#33; We never got over 50mph - and it was on the feeder, so that really isn&#39;t speeding.
