    CC Dually LSX

Just Bought a 93 Crew Cab Dually for a project. Got a few questions as to problems i may run into. The truck started out as a diesel and had a 454 swapped in several years ago. Will this cause any problems for my swap? I plan on putting a 6.0 in it but if i cant come up with one for a decent price how well is a 5.3 going to be in a truck this size? What mounts am i going to need going from the big block to lsx also? Thanks for any help

Will get pics up in a few days. It had a welding bed on it so im going to be looking for a bed. The body is pretty good shape with minimal dings and scraps. interior is going to need a little more work but not horrible. Dont plan on having a race truck but dont mind going fast either. Want to have plenty of power to tow if my cummins is tied up on something else

You'd be best buying small block mounts then using the dirty dingo mounts. Also, whatever you do use the 4l80e transmission, the 5.3 won't be unusable in a crew cab dually but it won't be super fast. As far as issues you shouldn't run into anything that isn't the usual.

I use to have a 2003 3500 dually with a 6.0, it could not get out of its own way. Highway speed was no problem, but it came at the price of 8mpg.

4l80 has been part of my plan from the get go. Had one in my CC. I would like to do a6.0 with LS3 to end and good cam to match. Maybe later go boosted. one thing i'm on the edge about Is a static drop or bagging it. I've wanted a bagged and bodied CC dually for some time now. I'm sure I won't body drop it but still thinking about bagging it. May be picking up some shaved down 24.5s in the next few days.
