Door locks

Anyone ever had trouble with door locks. I have a 2008 Silverado with 17,000 miles on it and the left front door doesn't unlock. Any idea's?

The left door lock seem's to be sticky inside the door itself. Doesn't respond to remote all the time or unlock itself when put into park.

I do have a recall on it. Will be going in this week.

Definitely sounds like a bad lock module or bent linkage. Did you ever lock yourself out of the truck and get a locksmith to let you in? Some of those guys are heavy handed when manipulating the linkage assembly inside the door. If the linkage gets bent out of shape in any way, it can put a strain on the module, causing it to work harder than it was designed
