    DRL's

Got a question about the DRL's on my 03 Sierra. Is it possible to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor that automatically turns on the headlights? Quite often I'll be driving around on a sunny day and my headlights come on instead of my DRL's. Would love to be able to adjust it so that the headlights only come on when it's actually dark.

try cleaning the sensor just incase its all dusty and thinking its dark out... u could always use ur DRLs manually if u hit dome overide 4x fast u turn all the lights off so u can just turn on DRLs

That only works on 99-02's. Not sure what the OP has.

yea I've tried cleaning that thing off a few times, no help. I live in Canada so having your lights on is mandatory, can't be turned off. Has to be either DRL's or headlights. Not that big a deal just one of those little things that bugs me when I see there on and the DRL's should be on instead

I've had two trucks that didn't have DRL's, never ran with the lights on either. Never once did I get hassled. I wouldn't worry too much, the cops are more worried about the idiots with too dark of tint on their Civics
