    Cool Transmission cooler

So this transmission cooler is now installed and I'm glad I finally went through with it. My transmission would usually stay in the neighborhood of 180* - 200* (even saw it climb to 230*) and now it stays at about 150* driving through town on a 95* day. Also, it get's down to about 130* on the highway. Just thought I'd share.

    Here's the install

    Run hoses under the radiator.....

    ....and into the trans cooler

I have a larger 34" radiator, royal purple fluid, and a factory trans cooler. Even with all my extra weight, and beating on it today in the 90* heat...I only saw like 152. I have a stock stall, do high stalls really add THAT much more heat?
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

I was basically a bone stock 4.8 with a 60e, and in the summer the trans would get up to 220* or so. After the 40k cooler, 120-150* on average. Your larger radiator and that factory cooler must be helping you out quite a bit.
