Will I have any problems using Infinity speakers with my stock HU? The 4x6 plate in the rear says 9.5 ohm. The Infinity is a 2 ohm. Any problems?

The Infinity Kappa plates are weak! Should be fine with a stock head unit and no amp. I just pulled out my 3rd set and will be moving on to something better.Originally Posted by 95WIP

I'm putting in 6X8 Kappa 682.9 2 way in place of the 4x6. I had a previous post about the install. Now, The speakers will play fine for a while, then stop playing. They will not resume playing until I remove the passenger side rear speaker. Then, I can reinstall it and they will play again. I think I have a ground issue, but not sure. Any way to tell?

Sounds like you are pulling to many ohms from your head unit.

You said the infinitys are 2 ohm and your factory ones are 9.5?
