    Help Please!

Alright so heres the story i have a 98 toyota tacoma 2.7 liter 5 speed 121k miles i got it at 119k. It started doing something funny today...in low rmps when i hit the gas it stumbles and bucks. i tried at at about 55 in 5th gear and put it to the carpet and does the same.. almost seems starved for fuel but... i was about to go get a fuel filter as i hadnt changed this since i bought it. so i start going up this decent size hill and the transmission light starts flashing. so i turn around to head home and as im going down the hill the light goes out. It still stumbled on the way home so i was like wtf. so i checked the fluid. it was a bit low so i added some. Just took it for a ride... Still does it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Check all eletricals. Plugs, wires, and so forth. Check the basic stuff. Fuel Filter maybe. Through a DTC scanner on there and maybe it will be throwing a code

okay well i got it all figured out had nothing to do with the tranny anyways so i duno what the frigen light was on for. i changed the fuel filter... nothing...my uncle came over with his little scan tool threw 2 diff codes one for rapid missfire and one for cam sensor. soo i went and bough 80 dollar frigen plug wires and some NGKs and put those in and its totally fine... the 2nd bank was nasty.. you could tell it was messed up but like i said ive only had it for 2k miles. so hopefully i can stop wasting my damn money on this thing because i want to order my cam rods springs and slave on friday!

Just put a 5.3 or 6.0 in it then you won't have the problem anymore.
