    Body Control Module

I'm guessing my '06 has a BCM (assuming but don't know for sure)? I know the BCM normally controls thing like the interior lights as they fade out, or the radio shutting off after 15 minutes when the truck is turned off or until a door is opened. I've had a few issues where one of the interior lights (pass side door light) will stay on even though the interior light fade out has already occurred. It is not a big deal, as I turn on the interior lights again using the rotary dash dial, then off again and it goes out. The other day the radio stayed on even though the door opened. I closed the door and opened it again and it shut off. I'm just curious if this type of behavior is indicative of the BCM failing?

Probably an issue with the door lock not indicating that the door is shut. Don't see too many off the wall issues with bcm's but the lock actuators have been crap for quite some time now. It'd be a lot cheaper to try the actuator first before the bcm. If you can get a tech 2 hooked up it'll show you wether or not the bcm is receiving a closed signal from the door.
