    Going Down (maybe)

    Hey Guys,

I've loved my lifted truck, but with college and all, I'm don't really need it anymore. I'm thinking about going for more of a street truck look by taking the lift off.

So my question is how small of a tire can i run with my 4:56's?
I'm thinking about going to 305's, nothing any smaller than 31's.
Idk What DO You Guys Think?

    Thanks for your help!

    lifted

4:56's what do you have on there now 35's(315/75/16). A 305/70/16 and a 285/75/16 are both 33's. One is 12 inches wide, one is 11 inches wide. any smaller smaller, you are gonna be screamin down the road burning gas. If you have the 35's i would just keep the lift. I got 35's and stock 3:73 still. I am gettin 8-9 mpg. 4:56 is my nxt step.

Whats your current setup? tire size? 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton?

Like Tanz was mentioning you might not get the results you hope for after removing the lift.

Tanz do you have a tune? I'm asking because I have a 6 inch lift and 35's and I'm daily driving getting 14 miles a gallon, with stock 3:73's.

No, no tune yet, was waiting to get the headers on first. But if i can almost double my milage, the headers can wait. Not that important, especially when i got other nickle and dime items to fix.

Understand you there. The tune has really made my whole truck come alive and getting decent gas mileage is plus! Your speedo if prolly off somewhere around 5 mph, right? Get yourself a tune you will love it.
