Well I haven't posted in awhile, so I figure I'd come back with some war stories. Just today my girl was driving my tahoe, and as she's merging onto the free way some ass in a Hemi Dodge Ram cuts her off and slows her down. She's crazy like me, so she whips into the other lane catches up and they do the look. They both take off, and as she's hitting 115 he's no where in site. He was so surprised he nearly crapped himself.
I don't know what the hell Allen did to my Tahoe but it's so fast I'm actually a bit scared of it. I've taken out a 350Z, RX8, Neon SRT-4, and my girlfriend and I have killed more rice than we know what to do with. I've only done a few mods, but damn I can't wait to start killing vettes after some mild tranny work.
If anybody knows of a strip in the Seattle area let me know, I wanna test this thing out. It's gotta be in the high 13s and only keeps getting faster. I haven't even retuned it since the new tires, headers, and exhaust! Nothing faster than a Chevy!

Not bad at all. Get that thing to the track! Have you dynoed it yet or are you going to wait after your future mods?

I'm probably gonna do it after a few more mods then a retune. I'm pretty excited to check out what it's making, but I'm new to my area. Just moved from California to Washington, and don't know who's reputable around here.

Amazingly not much. Killed some weight and that's about it. I took it to the scales and it was around 4900lbs. It came with 3.73s gears and the tires went from 265s to 275s. It came fast from the dealer, so I guess chalk the rest up to skill...

(Oh yeah plus it's pretty cold here, so that helps a bit too.)

I tried to send a pm, but it wouldn't go for some reason. How'd you shave that much weight?
