    Cam

    What's about the biggest cam can i do on a 05 silvy with a 5.3 without changing the stall

    You can run whatever you want without a stall, but not saying its gonna be the best effort. I would say stay south of 220 duration on a stock stall. However, if your going to drop the money for a cam why not wait add a stall and get a bigger more fun cam?
    No stall: 212/218 can't go wrong.
    With a stall: 2xx/2xx the sky is the limit I think a 226/230 is a fun cam in a 5.3

    X 2 I got a 220 cam in my truck and love it but I want a stall because its a dog till it hits the power band

    make sure it has a lower lsa (111, 112) and some advance ground in....that will make it come into the power band sooner which would be a big plus with a stock stall

    I notice hardly nothing on the highway but prob 3 less in town? I think once I get my stall it will help some too

    Yeah i think my cuz knows u his name is bobby hes in a wheel chair now he said u were gonna sell him a 4.8 some time back i think ur the same guy but when y'all gonna do the cam swap ill like to help out even if i just hand u guys the tools lol i never opend up a motor like this but let me know im in schertz tx but ill meet up some place by the way u got a bad azz looking truck bro

    Ya I know Bob tell him I said what's up. Does he still have his truck? I will let u know when we do the cam swap. It wont be till March. If u plan on doing yours sooner let me know.

    i agree with 212/218 its s proven torque cam.. anything more than 220 will req a stall to get you moving..
