so let me get this straight.. all there is to a 5.7 is this:
punch out iron 4.8 to 99mm. buy 5.3 crank. stock connecting rods (maybe some arp rod bolts). stock cc pistons. stock 61.15 cc LR4 heads.
by my calculations, this will give me a 11.0:1 static comp....
put on top of that a TR220.. seams to me 10.5:1 (-2cc) would be a little friendlier...
but I think this could net 400+hp on the cheap.. am I right?
also thought about Lq4/LS6 head and cam... hmmmmm
02 Sierra... motorless for now.
02 SS.. stock bottom 4.8, 241's, 224-220/116+4, 918's and pushrods, front mount turbonetics 78mm, HKS GTII, TiAL, eBoost2, Yank PT3600, Performabuilt 60e, solid motor mounts. Tuned by me with HP Pro and LM2/AFX
