well so far im impressed with the rebuild...i got all the hard parts and bigger bands, beast sun shell and restalled tc...
it doesnt have that neck breaking snap that it had before but the shifts are still very firm and the builder said that was due to the restalled tc...i can break stall it to 2500 now before it lights the tires...
got to take it back for a check up 500 miles...
it was rebuilt by jr at aamatic transmission here in mcallen and he gave me a 12mo/12k mile warranty..
jr rebuilds trannys for guys that race and tear up their shit down here at the drag strip and does street trannys on the side

Good going bud! Glad you found a good tranny builder. I know there are a lot of truck guys south of me, maybe they'll hit him up for a trans rebuild.

    see you soon,

I think tranny probs are some of the worst feelings but always nice when you get it straighted out.

Good Job, yeah tranny breakage is scary, i always hoped it was a ujoint but sometimes it was either the rear end or tranny.
