    Transmission service in San Antonio

I'm looking for a place to get my transmission serviced. I called the shop where I had my tranny built but they gave some untrusting information. I asked them how much a flush is and they said it was 99. I asked if a filter change was included and they said it was not needed because the flush would clean the filter out. I don't trust that last statement so I'm looking for a place that can do an entire flush and filter for a decent price. Thanks in advance.

I dont trust myself to do it lol. Last time I tried to do it, I somehow lost 2nd gear by just dropping the pan and putting it back on.

If you find a dealer that offers a flush, run away.

While on the subject, do not have your trans flushed.

If it breaks and has to come out, a dealer or any other shop should flush the cooler of debris.

Drop the pan and change the filter if you need a trans service.

You are correct, stay away from any shop that says a flush cleans the filter.

If you decide to do it yourself let me know if you need an extra set of hands.

Pull the Pan, change the filter and flush the lines with cleaner.
