Hey Jake,
It all sure did, has been in the truck running same shafts and U joints in 2011. The 4L60E that is behind LQ9's will bolt up to the late model NP241 cases. Now I'm not to sure what...

sweet! Post up pics
Bought a new set of tires for the 94. Got a set of 285-75-16 Yokohama Geolander AT-S. The 305-70-16 Baja Claws on the truck, I only saw 14mpg at best. Ran it for a few miles with the Yoko's and...
Nice!
Couldn't agree more, LSX in my 94 was the best thing I could have done to it! Makes a perfect DD.
Thanks!
Just completed this swap in my 94 K1500. It was a walk in the park :)
As long as you stick with the 60E your able to use your 90 tranfer case. 80E you could use it, but would have to change...
I have used a lot of Deutsch Connector on my swaps. They are good enough for Caterpillar they are good enough for me.

Thanks guys, I'm proud of it.

Scroll down they are listed by model year.
Thats really odd. Your 100% sure the mounting bolts are tight? and you don't have any pins miss aligned? Did that once wouldn't let it fully engage.
Your fuel gauge, there should be a connector some where around the fire wall on the drivers side with fuel sending unit wires. Unplug it there and ohm it out, from the looks of the diagram your on...
Didn't you post in another spot about your starter wire circuit? Where are you getting key switched power from? and is it secured properly?
I don't have one. I did the harness/actuator upgrade on this truck years ago. Way nicer!
not sure if this will help, but this is what I did back then. ...
are you speaking of C100 pin C and pin N? I had this same question on my 05 swap in the 94 K1500. I don't have these attached on my 94, but kind of wonder if they feed power from the in cab fuse...
Mine is a 4wd. LOVE it now that its done. I went ahead with the factory 05 fuse block. It really wasn't bad at all. Had to add in 3 wires to it. I'd do it again. I've done both my own harness...
Have not updated for a while. Snowed in, so plenty of time for the web :D
Got the 94 up and running about 2 weeks ago. Hands down the best thing I could of done to the truck. The L33 fired off...
Did this swap in my dad's 95 couple years ago, and doing this swap right now in my 94. Here is the link to my dad's 95 swap http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/showthread.php?t=435201

Ran wires to the fuse block from the pump and one from the old coil lead. Still need to run ALDL, and run wires into the cab for the DBW. Jumped a wire from the fuse block to the fire wall power...
be nice to retain those o-ring fittings.
Here is what I did on my 79 with the 87 sending unit.

I used tube to AN6 no leaks,...
Another option you can do it what I did with my 79. I'm not sure how the fuel lines will be on your 98 but I'm guessing you can connect them one way or another.

to use AC you have to sit the engine forward a ways as well as notch the frame for the AC lines. I made my own mounts for the 83K20 I did. I also scored a pair of CTS-V manifolds and Cats that fit...
Time for an update.
L33 is in and bolted up. I'm not to far from backing it out of the garage. Was aiming for 30 days, but going to be more like 45 days.
Enjoy.

Very cool to know. I have a 95 4L60E trans that is built pretty stout with the heavy duty pump and clutches. It may find its way in my 79 now! Thanks!
I agree with him. Truck motors are more plentiful and just cheaper all around. Pretty easy to install to. But like stated above....do your home work and it will go so much smoother
No the 79 has antique vehicle tags, so it gets little driving. Did put 2700 miles on it for Hot Rod Power Tour this past june. Looking forward to the 94 being a daily driver!
