1968 C10...
This past Friday I finished my trac-bars and got them on the truck. Then Saturday a group of buddies and I went to Pinevalley raceway in Diboll tx, to hit the track.
Well, the trac-bar worked well...
Here is a video of my 78. The one at the truck didn't convert very well from my iphone

Nah, I'm wanting to keep the stock set up.. Or mostly a stock style set up.. And I've bought the expensive parts of the trac-bars already..
I dont want it to spiral out of control like my 1981.....
I got a video on my iphone also of the run, but cant seem to load it..
Well I went to the track this past weekend with my 1978 with the LQ4/4L80E, and my assumptions were correct. I need trac-bars BAD. The rear end rapped pretty bad and it wheel hopped from a hard dig....

Here is a pic of my 78 c10 (I known its a different body style).

I tried the "freakin" search bar. I was just trying to see what was out there...
I'm looking for some used Cal-trac bars or smith racing adjustable trac bars. Trying to cut down the axel rap and improve 60 foot times.
let me know what you have.
Thanks,
Man, thats tough. He was very talented. R.I.P. very very sad...
I hear ya.. lol
The 4.0 runs too well to swap at this time plus I have 4x4 cummins...
Man if I had the time, I would love to do just that! lol
I may have to look into that, I'll regret selling my cherokee this winter...
Cherokee has sold, thanks for the intrest..
Thanks
I thinks is pretty whipass!
Damn that would be a hella sleeper..
Theres a 8.1 with a whipple on craigslist around Houston, for like $5,500 I wish I had the change that would be awesome in my shortwide.
That sounded killer! I've got alot of buddies that work for Mast, they produce some awesome motors.
I used the stock Ls1 fbody pan on mine, and a buddy of mine used a fbody pan on his 5.3. But im sure that the truck pans work as well.
Heres a under hood pic.. Its pretty basic, but I'm going to somewhat rework the whole truck here in a couple months..
Yes, truck is bagged fbss.
And the trailblazer is my wifes, It has a superchips programmer and cold air.. I could not get it to stop spinning, It got a 2.5 60ft..lol
And I'am avid pit bull fan.....
