Well the idea is you are replacing the torsion bars with coilovers, so the advantage will be when you compare it to a torsion bar lift of the same size. Big tbar cranks ride like ass, but coilovers...
A couple guys have, but this wont work with big lifts due to UCA clearance. The typical 4-6" knuckle lift is perfect.

I needed to redo the cable itself once upon a time and just used some home depot 3/16" cable...same thing as the stock one.
If its like the gmt800s the feed line is 3/8" and return is 5/16"
