Use better gas, 91 octane will run you maybe 5 bucks extra at the pump, it's worth it!

Plug and play, at least my 99 Silverado with a 04 6.0 motor did.
I would go with 2 1/2 dual. 3 inch single worked great for me for the longest time. If you run dual exhaust, be sure to use an H pipe and link the two. You might want to upgrade gears too. I think...
Bummer, that's a good hike from here. Well, welcome to the forum! Good place to be. I used this site for my t56 swap into my truck.
Where in Colorado? I'm in the springs. I got a few guys here that can help you too. Welcome to the forum.
I just don't recommend it, plus I'm in Colorado. The streets are so bad I'm sick of it, I'm raising my truck back up and going prerunner style instead.
I work at a muffler shop, i dont recommend it. Because when you go over a bump, you axle goes up, and that exhaust will be mighty low. I would recommend dumping before the axle, i just did a bagged...
But i am very curious to what other people are running. Those are just the numbers that work for me. But my truck is also very squirrely at speed. I really should take those things off haha
I'm running 23 psi on the street. I drop to about 12-15 for the track. I'm running ET streets. I agree with sneeky, just drop a pound or two at a time and find the right pressure for your setup.
Congratulations!
I used a 2004 6.0 lq4. It was a direct swap. The only thing i had to change was the oil sending unit over to the 6.0. I had a manual trans though, i know there is a difference in the output, mine was...
I had a similar problem, but everything was going crazy, wrong lights lighting up, brake lights dimming instead of getting brighter. Turns out, i had a loose ground. Drivers side, up by the fog...
I got 29 with a stock lq4, NV3500, and 4.10. Freeway of course. And then i got stupid and now i see way less, but my smile is much bigger.
I normally email them. Get a response within a day or two.
Rock in the tire?
I did the same, swapped a flowmaster for a magnaflow. Loved it. But....once i did my cam, it got loud again. But I'm happy with the sound. So it's staying like it is.
The hose on the left goes in the drain bucket for when you change the fluid. Otherwise it just sits. The top one on the right goes to the coolent overflow, bottem goes to the throttle body. That's...
You've got the right mind set. Mine is my daily driver, i had from end of the day, to the next morning. So had to be on point with no hang ups. Btw, pilot bearing is the same, but how far the input...
Doesn't hurt to try, i was in a time crunch and didn't have time to screw around. As long as you have it in mind, it possibly won't work, you won't get mad when it doesn't. The other thing i just...
I'm shooting for a solid 12. I'd like motor only, but if it's not there, its getting a bottle. Elevation here has made this task a little more difficult than i expected, so i may run over to Topeka...
Yeah, that's what i did, i used a 97 t56 and converted it. I picked it up for $900. Then the conversion cost about 500. I did however find an ls1 t56 on craigslist yesterday here for a thousand. But...
Sorry man, it's just the way it is. You have to convert it. It's been a year since i did my conversation and swap. I remember one of the input shafts being way longer. the throw out bearing is...
Your going to want more gear. I have a t56 and 4.10s, this month I'm jumping to 4.88s. My rpm on the freeway right now are 1800 rpm at 80mph in sixth gear. With my cam, I'm nowhere near my powerband....
If you clear the cashe and cookies in your phone, it'll go back to the mobile style.
Magnaflow. You running a cam or anything? I have headers and dual 3 inch mags and a very large cam. I have a nice deep sound. Mine are also dumped in front of the axle making it louder. You could...
