A flexplate certainly would not hurt and a nice sfi one is always a plus. Pretty sure Chris at Circle D has a couple for you guys. I would also be looking closely at your converter spacing to make...

Yes the thread size is 1/8 pipe. The issue you might be having is the sender is hitting the inside of the case before the threads.
I personally like to see .125 but anything under .187 is fine and never tighter than .062. BTW I like that wright up!
Are you sure that you do not have an issue with the shifter assembly?
I would have to agree with looking at the drive line first. As far as the trans is concerned delays can be caused by a few different things. A worn boost valve causing low pressure in reverse, hard...
The oem fiber gaskets work well. One thing I want to add here is the pan torque spec's are 98-108 inlbs. I normally set my inch lb torque wrench to 110 and let it fly. At 12 ftlbs you are at...
Yes we have already talked! LOL I actually posted in his thread on PTN and he did send me a pm. I'm always around you just got to find me! Have a good one. Vince
Very solid advise. If a 1-2 accumulator piston is damaged, main line oil on one side of the piston will enter the 2nd gear oil circuit. This will keep the band applied even though the solenoids are...
You know Mike if you keep doing that I think you might find your problem faster! Sooner or later its going to go boom!
I have heard these make noise just going over bumps. Just saying. Can you feel this in the steering wheel?
Drain the fluid on the tcase to see what comes out of it. If it has chunks its time to...
Mike check your trans and engine mounts.
Your trans will not work properly without a vss signal. I would get that fixed first. Might just fix your issue. Vince
I would have to say either a broken band or rear band servo. HTH Vinc
I would check your vehicle for codes. In some cases a 2nd gear start limp mode condition will happen instead of 3rd gear limp mode. Start there first. Also I have seen where a cracked plastic 1-2...
Thanks guys I appreciate the comments. As far as I know FLT has not been a sponsor here for a while but I did drop in to offer tech advise. Not sure what happened there and well I know it was not my...
As some of you may have already known or suspect I am no longer with Finish Line Transmissions. I was let go from FLT the day before Thanksgiving 11-24-2010 and will be starting new job building for...
I'm going to say no. The 09 units have some internal changes on the valve body and internal wiring. The pressure manifold switch has been removed in 09 and your tcm I believe is looking for inputs...
When you say anchor are you talking about the pin? This might have fell out of the case while you had things apart.
I would not think that a larger check ball is going to cause the issue you are having with the 1-2 shift. It sounds more like there is an issue with a leak or a slipping band. Check your 1-2...
1.Yes there should be at least one spring in the 1-2 accumulator housing. On most factory units there will be two and in some TG kits you will actually have a spring above and below the acc piston....
If you suspect that your trans is slipping in all gears at wot do a line pressure test to see what is going on. If you do not have line rise you need to find out why.
Mine is exactly the same. I thought 210 might be a bit hot but I guess it's normal. The one thing I do like is I get heat fairly quick on cold days!
It sounds like the input sprag has failed in your transmission. Vince
I sent flowers to both the MIL and my mom. For my old lady our 20 year anniversary was this week and she already got flowers so I'm good there. We went to a nice steak house tonight and saw Iron Man...
Check to make sure that your shifter cable and linkage arm are all nice an tight. Almost sounds like you might have something loose that is causing your issues.
