Awesome keep us updated on the mounts
Awesome thanks, that will probably the most expensive part of the build. Doesn't sound to hard I might just go ahead and get a cheap fuel cell to make it easier.
Ok on to the fuel line, I always hear about not using to much rubber fuel line. But yet I see braided rubber fuel line ran on alot of high performance built the entire way. What is the correct type...
let me know how long those welds hold on the axle tube
Planning on doing a swap on a 82 f100 witch is curently carbed. There is only 1 fuel line running from the tank the mechanical fuel pump.
Im wondering if it would be possible to use the stock line...
Any pics of the motor mounts? I see there's plenty of room in there so im thinking about jumping into my 82 f100 and doing a very similar build since I already have a 5.3 and th400
Cant wait for this one! I was going to be doing a s10 5.3 swap but i think ive changed my mind and gonna do my 82F150 instead
hmm well I cant tell a differance, I have it setup stock but when i push the tow hual button it sets everything to my tune.
i went ahead had all the tourqe managment took out and line pressur eraised to 100%
i cant tell a differance im gonna just get a 1-2 servo
so what will the boost valve do?
I dont really wanna have to pull the pan yet. Will the shift kit make it shift harder? Or will just the servos do that?
Also what would a boost valve do?
My open diff will spin both tires in a loose traction sitiation like dirt or mud.
But the limited slip i had would barly do a right hand dougnut lol
I could literaly smoke the inside tire in...
well I beat the truck pretty hard, what would you suggest? I have not had good experiance with limited slips they never seem to hold good in a heavy truck I always end up spining the inside tire in...
I plan on doing a G80 4.10 Z71 rearend
I have a 03 5.3 silverado
I had the truck programed and had the line pressure turned up but it still doesnt shift hard enough for me.
I have been looking at billet servos but not sure what to...
I also work for GM (well saturn......), we have done the same thing before.
We actually had tornado damage on a few of our new car inventory and GM made us lock the engines up and completly trash...
I can do the install my self but yes I was talkin about track times.
thanks looks like ill be getting a stall
I have a stock 03 silverado reg cab short bed 2wd 5.3 I had it tuned and have CAI and a flowmaster with turndown.
I am wondering what will give me the best results next?
