I think you have to call them. Proheads that is. LKQ can be found on the net. I am not sure what lq9s are going for now.
hope you are not totally screwed on this. If they don't redo the engine I would buy one from LKQ or get a rebuild from proheads.com. My stock lq9 from lkq is doing great. Just a cam swap and that...
1700 miles should not show any wear. I am leaning toward builder error.
Good Luck. If they don't make it right get a long block from proheads.com you wont have any problems with a motor from them.
