Fuel line disconnect tools unless you just cut the hose. Bring lots of extensions to get the belhousing bolts
That's the code for the trans range sensor (prndl)
Just turn that code off if you have hp tuners
Sachs nfw1050 is the flywheel you need. Your current clutch will work fine.
I am running a 219/228 112LSA hot cam with ls6 springs...according to all the keyboard master mechanics, its an old school cam, but it sure pulls hard (sounds sweet to)
IIRC the ls6 springs are...
This forum has as much life as a cemetery, you'd be better off searching on ls1tech
And of course you neee the two harnesses that plug into the tac module
Did it in my 95. Not hard at all. Need the pedal, and tac module. Had to modify the metal pedal bracket to fit the truck properly, so i wouldn't recommend the all plastic version of the pedal.
I used the original fuse box. Wired into the stock fuel pump relay and everything. Looks "factory" and clean
Lt1swap.com does. Thats what i used as a reference
Yes you can use stock rad. Your stock lower rad hose will work, but use the donor truck top hose.
You cant use the donor ac unit in its stock location, you'll have to usr your stock one and run...
Sent you a pm few days ago about my swap

They fit. Had them on my truck when I set the engine in place. Then my long tubes showed up the next day
Stock one from my 4.3 v6 works just fine. Stock throw out bearing works fine to
Works fine either way. No noticeable difference
I used a cheap eBay kit for a hummer h2 for a while. Worked good just ugly IMO. Now I'm just running a cone filter right off the throttle body with a 4" flex coupler
Little quick math with gear ratio and tire diameter and speed will tell you exactly cruising rpm. Probably even a calculator online that you can punch the numbers into
Put taller gears in it. 342's should not be on a "tow package" vehicle. 3:73 or 4:10 would make it tow good
They are different springs if they are truck 799 heads. I put the blue ls6 springs in my 799s for my hotcam.
Just build your own, it's super easy. Lots of videos on YouTube about it also. You can also extend your wires and hide your pcm wherever you want
Post pics when you get to it. Been curious about it myself
Go to lt1swap.com
All the info you could ever need. I threw the 5.3 fuse block in the garbage and just ran everything into my factory block. A multimeter and a test light are your best friend
That truck is the same color that mine started life as. Mines currently stripped to bare metal and doing body work and prep for paint. Tough to decide on a new color!
Love it.
