Anyone know how or if the 2 pin truck alternators can be used without the pcm controlling them? Is it as easy as just adding a resistor like the 4 pin alternators?
Obs w/ Lc9 swap running Holley...

I bought a set from them. They had the best price I could find on them.
I think that diagram you posted should get me pretty close. If I can't figure any out I'll post specific wires so you don't waste a lot of time looking up wires I have figured out. Thanks again for...
Its a smaller wire, maybe 18 ga.... it comes through the firewall on the passenger side. I believe it goes to the RWAL module and not through the c100 plug like I thought at first.
You could try taking the part #'s to your parts store and have them order them for you. Dorman has an online catalog if you need to look up part #'s.
Thanks I appreciate the help.
I ordered from them once and it took right at a month to get my parts as well.
Good find, that could definitely come in handy.
I think that will help a lot. Is there a diagram that shows all of the wires in the C100 plug?
Yeah, rear wheel anti-lock.
Thanks. I think i may have figured out what the purple wire that I thought went back into the cab is. After looking at it again `it looks like it may go to the RWAL module.
Both sides really, but what ever I can get will be helpful. There is a purple wire that comes out of one side and then back in the other side. On the passenger side there is a purple and white wire...
Thanks I'll check it out.
I'm finishing up a 6.0L/4L80E swap into my '88 RCSB and have a few wires I'm not 100 % sure on what they are. I need a schematic that shows all the wires that come through the firewall.
Also, is...
Do you have a pic of it done? I am in the middle of a 6.0L swap into an 88.
It's been awhile since I have done one, but now that you mention it I think there was quite a few that had to be changed.
Offtopic: Do you have any pics of your truck with the C5 wagon wheels?
You can change a few of the pins around and the '98 harness will work with the newer PCM.
