I noticed I said it was for a 4.6

It is for a 4.8l, should fit the 5.3l also.

It was given to me when I bought the truck I had a few years ago.. never got around to installing it. Then I sold the truck. It was for a 1999 GMC Sierra 4.8l.. I'm sure it fits any of the gen 2 ls...

I'd meet anyone within 800~1,000 miles if there is interest. That pretty much puts me in denver.

That would be a slight predicament. If you were really interested, I'd knock off what it takes to ship it. I hear its not 'too bad' to ship.

I've found a 5.3 that came out of a 2003 state patrol gmc yukon. Is there anything special with it? Or would it just be an HO version. The guy is just taking offers on it. Any thoughts?

Might not help I usually ride the crap out of it. But it hasn't gotten any worse. Thursday I'm buying a floor jack, and some stands so I can work under the truck. Along with a grease gun. I'll see...
